Characterization of Stabilised Sewage Sludge for Reuse in Road Pavement

In recent years, the disposal of sewage sludge has been a major concern worldwide because their potential treat in relation with contamination ground water and food chain. Furthermore, poor mechanical properties don’t allow possible direct use civil engineering applications. For these reasons, it was important to explore more opportunity reuse this by-product treatment. frame, solidificationstabilisation technique (S-S) which is based on hydraulic binders can improve so that be used application, especially road pavements. context, paper investigates possibility using solidified construction. To achieve goal, an experimental protocol conducted several combined binders: combination Cement/ Limestone filler Cement/Lime, different amounts target fix optimal mixtures amount. Several tests were characterise geotechnical sludge. The results indicate mixture cement lime allows as base sub-base layer.
